But what is “Panatolia”? The name is derived from Anatolia. Not a coincidence since it is basically a stock shoot image bank about Anatolia. These are not just any photos. You will find shoots from Istanbul and Anatolia; many about touristic and historical places. Others mirroring human portraits, events organized in Turkey like Champion’s League and Formula 1, the life of average Turkish citizens, football matches, races, restaurants, streets, historical figures and symbols etc... You will be able to find a wide range and variety of images. Panatolia opens you the door to a world of wonders; some of you know and many you will be surprised to discover.
Panatolia is not just an image bank, it has the mission to introduce Turkey from a wide angle, a project that is planned to last 100 years. Therefore, you will find more than just images; information about events held in İstanbul and Anatolia with links to those events. Forums and interviews with various guests and on various subjects will also be available soon. Significant names known with their works in culture, art, industry, tourism, cinema, music, media, literature etc will express their thoughts.
Panatolia was founded by Sary Okay who has been a photographer, commercial and documentary film director since 1984. He is the main photographer but the site also aims to introduce new talents to the world. The archive of Panatolia includes panoramic and one shot digital photos. Images of certain sizes are free to download and use. Overseas orders can also be delivered as VCD and DVD.
